I created Wandering Weightlessly because I know exactly what it feels like to believe the map isn't made for you. As an adoptee and a single mother by choice via foster-care adoption, I’ve navigated the heavy terrain of trauma and transition. As a plus-size traveler with limited mobility and 12 years of sobriety, I’ve faced the physical and social barriers that try to keep us home.

My mission is to move beyond the typical travel "escape" and create meaningful groups, retreats, and experiences that honor who you are. Why Wander With Me? Life's "limitations" are often just invitations to innovate. My life has been a series of rewriting the rules—from thinking I’d die a "drunk under a bridge" to becoming a debt-free business owner and mom exploring the globe with my son.
